A Columbus, Indiana bicycle accident sent three people to the hospital last week.
Officials said the children, ages 2 and 3, were in a trailer attached to the back of their mother’s bicycle just before 10 p.m. when the trio was hit by a passing car. The children’s father was riding behind the crew when the accident occurred.
According to reports, a black BMW attempted to swerve at the last minute just before it hit them.No citations were issued in connection with the accident.
They were taken to local hospitals in serious condition. Their mother was treated and released.
