A south Indiana man was killed Friday when a truck he was working on rolled off a hydraulic lift and crushed him.
According to reports, the man was working at Ace Automotive in New Albany, Ind. Friday afternoon about 4 p.m. on a truck. He was putting a new fuel tank in the vehicle when he removed the drive shaft. Officials said that action released the park mechanism, allowing the truck to roll off the lift.
The man died from his injuries when the truck fell on him, crushing him. An autopsy will be performed Saturday.
