A man was struck by a semi tractor trailer Friday morning while changing a flat tire on the shoulder of I-65.
According to reports, the 41-year-old man from Carmel was changing a flat on his left-front tire of his vehicle when he stepped into I-65 and was struck by a passing semi about 9 a.m.
He was taken to a local hospital and treated from non-life-threatening head injuries and possible broken bones.
The driver of the semi reportedly swerved to avoid the man and was not charged in connection with the crash.
